Listening In The Car with Apple Play and the Tring Radio App

Tring Radio is available on digital radio right across the whole of Herts Bucks Beds and beyond. Make sure you get the MyTuner Radio app now so you can listen to us in your car, at work or at home.

You can also use bluetooth to play the Tring Radio App directly to your car speakers. 

MyTuner Radio App

You can also listen to Tring Radio via MyTuner which is available from all App Stores. If you car has Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, just plug the phone into the USB socket, then open up MyTuner and search for Tring Radio. Click play and you will be listening to Tring Radio in absolutely no time.

"Alexa, enable Tring Radio!". It's that easy to get our Alexa Skill enabled on your Amazon Alexa compatible device. Once enabled, just simply say "Alexa, Open Tring Radio" and our radio station will start playing. You'll then be able to listen to Tring Radio anywhere you have an Alexa device, even in the car !

Google Nest / Google Home

You can listen on Google Home and Nest devices/smart speakers (with or without a screen).  Remember to say  "Hey Google, Ask Tring Radio to Play" - wait a few seconds, and start listening !

Listen Online

You can listen to Tring Radio online via your computer or connected device.  The easiest way is to hit the 'Listen Live' button at the top of tringradio.co.uk If you have an internet radio, you might need to enter a direct stream link on your account or device.

What about FM & DAB?

Everyone asks what about FM.  Unfortunately in modern times, Ofcom (the government agency which is the radio regulator) is no longer issuing further FM licences as all stations are moving to digital platforms in the near future. Occasionally, Ofcom issues low powered hospital and community radio stations with FM frequencies but these can only be heard for a very very limited short distance, say in the grounds of a hospital or college.

As for DAB we are excited to be shortly going to be available in the North Bucks Area along with some brilliant local radio stations across our area, which gives local listeners and communities great choice of local radio going forward.
