A new Secret Sound has started on Tring Radio: Listen in to Tring Radio weekdays daily where we’ll give you the chance to hear the sound and start taking your answers.

The prize pot again starts at £10, and will increase each time the sound isn’t correctly identified.

Competition Terms and Conditions

Tring Radio’s standard terms and condition prevail for all of our competitions.  For the Secret Sounds Competition, the following terms and conditions also apply. You must register on the tringradio.co.uk website to be in with a chance of winning the Tring Radio Secret Sound Competition.  Registrations are made through our website www.tringradio.co.uk/

You must be over the age of 18 years old.

When you register you must provide a name, valid email address and a daytime contact telephone number (so that we can contact you if you win). With each competition round, which will be aired at least once per day on weekdays we may choose a random entrant from all registrations received that day.  By entering the competition, you are agreeing to be identified as an entrant or a winner and you also may be asked to take part in subsequent publicity activity.  All call backs will be recorded and may be broadcast and promoted on the website. 

Only one entry per registration will be counted in the draw.  If your entry (correct or incorrect) is chosen to be aired, we may call the number with which you registered. If you don’t answer the phone, we will select another contestant at random.  Your number will go back into the draw for a further call in the future.  You hereby agree to accept our terms and conditions of entry.

There is no set duration for the length of the entire round of this competition.  Once you’ve played, you will have to register enter again.  Each time the Secret Sound is not guessed correctly, the prize pot will increase.  If you correctly identify the Secret Sound, you’ll win the prize pot.

You must guess the sound precisely and describe it exactly in order to win. As per our terms and conditions the judges' decision will be full and final and no further correspondence will be entered into.
