The White Horse pub in High Wycombe has been the go to place for hardcore music fans hosting live music, and being the locals 'go to' place for over 150 years.
During this time it has welcomed many bands in their beginnings such as Kings of Leon, Coldplay, and Snow Patrol. Kings of Leon paid tribute to the venue in memory of their early shows saying 'There will always be a special place in our hearts for the White Horse. Thank you for the memories.'
Initially, the decision for closing was due to proposed planning application that would demolish the building, but these plans are thankfully no longer in place. Despite this, the owners have decided that it's for the best to close, whilst heartbreaking they're making sure that they make the most out of the pubs last few months.
We are pleased to note that the beloved venue will receive the last of the love it deserves on December 30 hosting a blowout finale to say goodbye, and of course not let any of the remaining stocks go to waste!
