Vegan Ivory - the Tagua Nut

On 18th September join us on the Eco Show with our special guest Alison from The Happy Elephant. Alison sells beautiful vegan ivory jewellery  made from the Tagua nut, a palm tree seed that grows in the rainforests of Ecuador. This natural material is the perfect alternative to elephant ivory and it looks and feels amazing! It's perfectly sustainable and also used by the people of Ecuador as a food source for people and animals as well as to make piano keys, buttons, reeds for wind instruments, umbrella handles and more!

Listen live at 6pm on 18th September or sign up for listen again on the Tring Radio website.
