Friars Square Shopping Centre in Aylesbury is now a dog-friendly destination
From February 7th, Friars Square in Aylesbury has become a dog-friendly shopping centre, meaning that Aylesbury is now a Dog-friendly shopping centre, meaning that people can now bring their furry friends with them when they shop. Previously, only assistance dogs were allowed inside Friars Square, now all breeds are welcome.
Centre Manager, Andy Margieson said “Owners will need to show responsibility and follow the ‘petiquette’ we’ll be displaying around Friars Square. "There are some basic doggy do’s and don’ts –such as always keeping dogs on leads and ensuring they do not bark or jump up.”
Friars Square confirms that about half the shops and cafes located in the shopping centre have agreed to let dogs inside. Dog-owners are advised to check for the "Dogs Welcome" signs displayed on the windows of each business.
