TRING RADIO… OUR AMAZING STORY: Part One

Tring Radio is the fastest expanding volunteer run non-profit based radio station in the South East of England - initially setup in light of the Coronavirus Epidemic to bring News Information and Music to our local residents.

All our Radio Shows at Tring Radio are produced by a fast growing team of over 50 dedicated music lovers, DJ’s and Presenters. We are a fully licensed Radio station and broadcast LIVE Daily, 365 Days a Year…
In fact we are one of the fastest growing radio station's in the South East of England.

 

By supporting Tring Radio as a sponsor partner, advertiser, volunteer or listener YOU are helping to directly support YOUR local community.

We do not make a profit, any money we receive goes directly into the running costs of the station, which are huge, and we can only continue this journey with your support.

This in turn enables Tring Radio to continue to support brilliant local charity initiatives, local independent businesses / organisations and give amazing training and media opportunities to local people of all ages and abilities to become involved in Local Radio.

 

Lord Reith, the BBC’s first Director General got it right; “inform, educate and entertain”. And that’s what we’re here for. But with much much more.

At the forefront of everything we broadcast, is the concentration on being local radio. Located in the heartland of the Chiltern hills, we transmit across all of the South East of England, concentrating on the counties of Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Bedfordshire online via smart speaker or website, and even the amazing Tring Radio App! you can listen LIVE or on-demand, anywhere in the world. and we are soon launching on DAB Radio across the Chilterns in the North Bucks Area.

Many thousands of you tune into Tring Radio weekly. We broadcast around 15 - 17 hours of fresh and new locally generated content every day. that's a whopping 525600 minutes of Local Radio every year, so why not take a minute to partner Advertise and or Sponsor a Show or Donate to us!!!
